The Midnight Band of Mercy

Michael Blaine was an assistant professor of English at City University of New York. His previous novel, The Desperate Season, was widely praised and has been translated into French, German, and Dutch. He is the two-time winner of the New York State Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Fiction Writing. He currently lives in upstate New York.
